Uninterrupted Power
Safe, reliable and uninterrupted power supply
Once you become a citizen of Amanora Park Town, power cuts and load shedding will become a thing of the past. No more outages, no chance of mishaps and accidents. That’s how safe and reliable power supply will be.

In fact, safety has been the overriding concern while making foolproof provisions for power supply in every apartment block for which RCCB, FRLS wire and FR HMS PVC conduits have been used.

As a franchisee of MSEDCL, maintenance is taken care of internally. This guarantees regular power supply to all the citizens of Amanora Park Town. We arrange and supplement the procurement of power on our own and ensure zero load shedding. And, to reduce distribution losses, we use efficient electrical equipment.

A SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) Data Centre has been set up at Amanora Park Town to monitor the quality of power and detect faults in the system. The distribution of power is undertaken via XLPE underground cables to the electrical ducts. So, overhead lines are totally absent enhancing safety standards.

Besides, we plan to generate electricity from renewable energy sources to illuminate street lights and the landscaped area. Other than that, we also plan to use energy-saving devices, such as CFL base / LED / energy-efficient luminaries in the common area, and the movement detector / PIR sensor in the staircase and lobby area. Besides, our future plans also include the generation on our own of up to 40% of the electricity the township will consume.

Piped Gas
Amanora Park Town boasts of all the modern-day conveniences that anybody who seeks international living standards right here in India would expect. Piped natural gas or PNG is one such that the citizens of Amanora Park Town can take for granted.

Natural gas is mainly methane (CH4) with a small percentage
of hydrocarbons. The ratio of carbon to hydrogen is least in methane. Hence, it burns up completely making it the cleanest and most eco-friendly fuel available.
Piped Gas

Convenient
• 24-hour, uninterrupted gas supply
• No need to book and wait or store and change cylinders
• Saves precious space
• No problems associated with cylinders

Economical

• PNG is cheaper than LPG by 7.5% to 9%
• You pay only for actual amount of gas consumed
• Waste is curtailed

Safe
• Natural gas is lighter than air. So, in case of a leak, it just rises and disperses by opening of windows and doors
• The auto-ignition temperature of natural gas is 542 0C
• The flammable limit of natural gas is 5-15% with air whereas LPG is 2-10%

Clean

• Natural gas burns with a blue flame, which does not blacken the utensil.

Eco-friendly

• Use of PNG in cities makes LPG cylinders available for rural areas, thereby reducing deforestation.

Trend-setters

• Amanora Park Town is the first township within PMC limits that offers PNG.

Pawar Public School — full-fledged ICSE School
On the 3 rd of October 2008 the first school at Amanora Park Town was inaugurated by the then chief minister, Shri Vilasraoji Deshmukh. This ICSE school is run by the Pawar Public Charitable Trust. It boasts of a built-up area of more than 1.2 lakh square feet and large playgrounds. A treat to the eyes, the school has 52 classes and can accommodate up to 2,000 students at a time. Although much of the Township is still to be inhabited, the school already has more than 800 students in classes up to the
Pawar Public School
8 th grade. It has state-of-the-art facilities like a well-equipped laboratory, well-stacked library, self-sufficient music room, and a large multi-purpose hall. Above all, the school has highly-qualified staff.

Manipal School — School at Amanora by the pioneers in education
The Manipal Group has been a pioneer in the field of education in India and has an impressive track record when
it comes to higher education. The group has recently ventured into primary education and is in the process of setting up schools across India. This is only a logical extension of the Manipal Group’s core strength, which has always remained education. Incidentally, Amanora School will be the first school in Maharashtra to be managed
by Manipal K 12.

The school will follow the CBSE pattern of education. In the first phase, it will offer quality education from kindergarten to Grade IV, and in the years to come, will offer middle school and high-school-level programmes as well. The total built-up area of the school is 1.02 lakh square feet, and it will be able to accommodate up to 2,000 students at a time.

Classrooms will be equipped with ICTs and digital content platforms that would provide e-learning content for all grades. This content would help teachers make the classroom experience engaging and interactive. The striking feature of the curriculum is the absence of tests and exams up to Grade IV making learning fun. However, continuous evaluation and feedback are built into the learning process. The curriculum permits ample scope for children to explore their interests, thereby promoting creativity, curiosity, determination and independence in them.

Walk-to-school concept
See your kids walk to school
As of now, as many as seven schools have already been planned at Amanora Park Town. Each of them is strategically located so as to ensure that all the housing clusters at Amanora will have at least one school nearby. Further, separate pathways and cycle tracks have been laid out in the entire township so that school-going children and pedestrians don’t have to cut across any of them or walk on the road meant for vehicular traffic. This is a welcome change from the present-day scenario when little kids have to take a bus or travel long distances by auto rickshaw to get to school. Amanora’s unique “safe walk to school” concept brings relief to harried parents.
