Outstanding Entrepreneurship Award for Mr. Aniruddha Deshpande

Silver trophy for environment management to City Corp's associate company

Pune, November 17: City realtor and the Managing Director of City Corporation Limited Aniruddha Deshpnade has bagged the prestigious 'Outstanding Entrepreneurship Award' at the 3rd Annual APEA 2011 Awards - India.

Justice Markandey Katju, Chairman of the Press Council of India and William NG, President of Enterprise Asia, Malaysia presented the award to Aniruddha Deshpande in a glittering ceremony held at Taj Palace Hotel, Delhi recently.

City Corporation Limited is setting up 'Amanora', the first integrated township spread across 400 acres under the special township policy of Government of Maharashtra at Hadapsar, Pune.

The awards are instituted by Enterprise Asia to recognize individuals who have shown outstanding efforts, perseverance and tenacity in their business. Enterprise Asia is a non-governmental organization in pursuit of entrepreneurship development across the region and is supported by a panel of prominent industry and government leaders who truly believe in the mission of championing entrepreneurship in Asia.

Ltd., Roha, the associate company of City Corporation Limited was awarded Silver Trophy in horticulture and eco tourism sector for outstanding achievement in environment management. Yashomala Farming has done pioneering work in natural resources management, ecological preservation for flora & fauna and tree plantation.
